[Houston, TX] January 19, 2024–Compugen Systems Inc., is thrilled to announce that Kara Rudy, Founder + President of MarketDesign Consulting LLC has officially joined Compugen Systems Inc., as Chief Marketing Officer, effective January 1st, 2024. In a strategic move that had parent company Compugen Inc. acquire MarketDesign, Kara will remain a company shareholder and retain her leadership role as Chief Operating Officer + Board Member, while also assuming the role of VP, Marketing at Compugen Inc. This strategy reflects a shared commitment among the Compugen Group of Companies to reshaping the technology industry through brand differentiation, organizational alignment, and digital strategy.
Kara brings a unique perspective working in and for technology companies for nearly two decades. She has earned recognition as a best-in-class IT marketer, teaming with IT resellers, VARs, MSPs, and SaaS organizations to create brand impact and drive growth. She started MarketDesign in 2018, turning it from start-up to a seven-figure company in five years, and proudly contributed nearly $30,000 to cancer research over its tenure. Kara is a wife, mother, coach, and mentor, and was recently honored as a 40 Under 40 recipient in her hometown of Syracuse, New York.
Reporting directly to President Terry Mirza, Kara will be responsible for building brand awareness and share of voice through effective go-to-market campaigns and offer development.
